Happy Birthday, Recital!

It’s hard to believe that it’s eight years since we stood nervously at the Royal Albert Hall waiting to launch our revolutionary new chair – the Recital. Now, it’s a familiar sight at theatres, conference venues and universities across as far apart as Southampton, Istanbul, Queensland and California.

At that event, consultants, architects and theatre managers told us that Recital was a game-changer. It still stands at the forefront of its product category today – there’s no other chair like it. Sitting on it, you’d never suspect you were on retractable platforms.  Substantial, contoured and comfortable with a high level of finish, it enhances both contemporary and traditional auditoria. The photos speak for themselves! We also offer a fixed (non-retractable) variation of the chair, a model with a folding writing tablet, as well as a matching stacking chair.

If you’re creating or updating a retractable auditorium, Recital really can transform the way it looks. Contact our sales team, or take a look at our retractable seating page – there are links to all compatible chairs at the bottom of the page.
