Narre Warren South P-12 College

Melbourne, Australia390 seats

The Judith Graley Performing Arts Centre is a new facility for the College, a gorgeous space for concerts, performances and assemblies.

Our versatile retractable system is fitted with "Chorus" benches, which combine the comfort of a chair with the flexibility of a bench. To pack the seating away, the bench backrests are quickly folded down, then, at the touch of a button, the seating rows are slid back into a custom-designed recess. The auditorium then becomes an open space for dance, rehearsals and any of the other many activities that a school squeezes into its day!

This project was carried out in conjunction with our Australian partners, Maxwood Technology, who also installed the sprung floor and stage. All in all, a fantastic fit out of a space that we hope will inspire young performers for a few decades to come.
