The word "Meadowbank" has long been synonymous with sport in Edinburgh. The original Meadowbank complex stood for almost 50 years until it closed in 2017, hosting two Commonwealth Games along the way. It also hosted major concerts, the last one being Elton John in 2016.

The new complex includes 3 games halls,  indoor and outdoor athletics tracks, 3G pitches, fitness studios, gym, racquet sports courts, cycle studio and conference facilities. Audience Systems installed spectator seating in two of the games halls. Hall 1 has a total of 1113 seats, including 793 on retractable platforms. Hall 2 has 330 seats. The seats are our irrepressible Zenith model - incredibly tough, but also comfortable and smart.

The video below from Edinburgh Leisure shows the scale and quality of the new facilities.
