Europa Sports Centre

Audience Systems supplied retractable and stacking seating for these bright multipurpose halls at Gibraltar’s major new sporting facilities - Europa Point Stadium and Lathbury Barracks. The seating was installed to the tight deadline of the island games.  

The demanding timeframe required tight co-ordination with the client and other trades, as well as shift working on site. In addition, there were some logistical problems arising from Gibraltar’s unique terrain and customs status – all overcome with a little ingenuity!  

The project was completed on time and to the customers’ complete satisfaction. The retractable seating units complete with Espace chairs provide a modern and seamless look to the seating area. Co-ordinating stacking chairs (not shown here) add even more flexibility to the capacity of these spaces, which hosted multiple events at the games.
