Brantingsskolan

Uppsala is a growing city, and its school estates are growing too. At Brantingsskolan (Branting School), a brand new school for 720 is being built on the site of the original 1950s building.

Our fantastic local representative PSRIG worked closely with developers Veidekke to specify and install this smart retractable seating system, which was engineered and manufactured at our factory in Wiltshire, UK.

The system is opened and closed via a single pendant controller, with seats folding down automatically. The seats include fold away writing tablets, adding extra versatility to the auditorium. The unusual light grey metalwork is a striking finishing touch.
