Audience Systems is part of a global network of seating companies and is supported by the engineering might and financial stability of the Kotobuki Corporation of Japan. The group comprises Quinette Gallay of France, Interkal of the USA and KSI, based in Singapore. Each company in the group contributes unique design and manufacturing skill, experience and a complementary product range.
Founded in 1916, Kotobuki started life importing furniture and carpets. In the 20s it refocused on manufacturing furniture for public spaces, developing innovative solutions to make them both beautiful and functional. Their engineering prowess, tireless research and development programme and quest for elegance in their solutions have secured their position as a truly global power in the seating market and beyond.
Beautifully in tune with Japanese culture, Kotobuki is famous for producing the ultimate in slumber-efficiency; sleep pods, they also manufacture street furniture, signage and play equipment.
With headquarters in Kalamazoo Michigan, Interkal produces bleacher and plastic seating for school gymnasiums and a wide variety of high profile sports venues. Their rich history in the public spectator seating industry is due to the quality of their large engineering division and their experienced and skilled manufacturing team. Known for design innovations and their ability to deliver on time, Interkal also pride themselves on their attention to safety and attention to appropriate legislation across their product range.

Kotobuki Seating International was established in Singapore in 2012. It was founded to ensure clients in the ASEAN region were being offered the best of our group products through a regional hub office.
Their presence in Singapore has allowed KSI to build strong relationships with architects, specifiers and dealers as well as schools, colleges and local authorities throughout the region.
