Bush House

Strand, London399 seats

Bush House is a wonderful grade II listed building on the Strand, London with an illustrious history. For 70 years it served as the headquarters of the BBC World Service, broadcasting for the final time in 2012.

Kings College London acquired the lease for the building in 2015, and  has converted it into beautiful, contemporary conference space, with the largest auditorium including high specification retractable seating by Audience Systems.

The upgraded Espace 628 chairs include pocket sprung seats for outstanding comfort, solid oak armrests and high backrests.

The retractable seating includes two “partial opening” positions for added flexibility, special carpet and elegantly trimmed steps with special nosing and LED aisle lighting.

It’s a fitting level of finish for a building with an exceptionally distinguished history.
