PUWER Regulations
In the UK, the Provision and Use of Work Equipement Regulations, which apply to telescopic seating, require that any machinery, apparatus, tool or installation for use at work should be maintained in an efficient state, in efficient working order and in good repair. Specifically, work equipment should be regularly inspected by a competent person, and records should be kept of these inspections.
